As I immerse myself in the vibrant community of Reno, it’s evident that there’s a common concern resonating among residents about the state of our city, state and nation, especially post-pandemic. Across our neighborhoods and social media, a prevailing sentiment of fear is palpable. Even those who typically avoid political discussions are expressing a deep awareness of the negative shifts occurring, leading to heightened anxiety about the future.
Political Climate in Nevada: Consolidation of Power vs. Public Interest
The current leadership in Nevada is focused on consolidating their power and privileges, rather than striving to ensure that government serves the best interests of you and me. Instead of fostering unity, they propagate fear and misinformation to sow division among us. Fear and self-loathing are tactics employed by tyrants, not by proud American Nevadans.
Their Tyranny of Fear: Recognizing Manipulative Tactics in Leadership
Many individuals over the age of 30 feel disillusioned, noting that the world they grew up in no longer reflects the present reality. This transformation is often attributed to increasing business regulations, threats of increasing taxes, immoral medical mandates, demagoguery of the other party and excessive government control.
My Call to Action: Stepping Forward in Political Leadership
The declining sentiment is why I’ve chosen to step forward and run for office. As a realist, I am dedicated to addressing these concerns. I choose faith over fear, traditional American values and unity. I believe that a smaller government is key to returning our God granted power to “We the People.”
